Fertile Action Foundation: www.fertileaction.com
Fertile Action ensures every woman touched by breast cancer during her reproductive years has the option to preserve her fertility prior to cancer treatment.
The organization's educational and outreach program aims to:
- Raise awareness about the risk life-saving cancer treatment poses to fertility of women of reproductive age touched by breast cancer
- Educate patients and their caregivers about the fertility preservation options available
- Provide financial assistance to women who have the desire but not the financial means to pursue fertility preservation
Fertile Action's website www.fertileaction.com offers medical, educational and inspiring content, including video diaries by both Survivors and Previvors (those diagnosed with a genetic predisposition to breast and ovarian cancer). It hosts previously untold stories of single women who froze embryos with donor sperm, couples left unable to bear children after cancer treatment and young women who were not provided with options for fertility preservation. It also tells heartfelt stories of hope by those who took steps to ensure their future options as biological mothers and those who had children through natural means despite their cancer treatment.
Lance Armstrong Foundation - LIVESTRONG
The LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance is a coalition of organizations with the goal to improve the survival rates and quality of life for young adults with cancer between the ages of 15 and 40. The Alliance is committed to promoting research and the investigation of the problem, serving as a voice for the issue and promoting effective solutions.
LAF formed the LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance with the knowledge that unity is strength - by working together we can raise awareness and effect positive change for young adults with cancer.
California Cryobank is a proud participant in the LIVESTRONG Sharing Hope program which provides affordable sperm banking services for cancer patients with limited financial means.

I'm Too Young For This!: www.imtooyoungforthis.com
i[2]y exists to ensure that every young adult affected by cancer is given access to the best age-appropriate support they are entitled to in order to get busy living at every stage of their survivorship.
I2y doesn't want you missing out on an incredible wealth of free stuff like online and offline social networking events, adventure retreats, chat rooms, forums and blogs, camping excursions, fertility advocacy, peer counseling, scholarships, financial aid, happy hours and more! (Basically, all the things you never knew you always wanted.) What's more, most of the groups who provide these services were founded by young adult survivors like you so they know what they're doing and can totally relate to what you're going through! So stop searching and start connecting with thousands of others just like you.
Now when you scream, "I'M TOO YOUNG FOR THIS!", at least you'll know you're not alone. (There's over a million of us in the US right now!) So welcome to your life + cancer; where remission is not a cure and survivorship is all that matters. Now get busy living!
